Q: Can I use my SpokenBuzz minutes to make outbound calls?
Yes you can! You can use your SpokenBuzz balance to make calls to anywhere in the U.S. at low SpokenBuzz call rates. International calling is coming soon. To dialout, call any SpokenBuzz number and press '#'. If you are calling from one of your phones registered with us as a Pinless number, you will be instantly recognized and can start dialing the number you want to call. To speed up your connection, please press '#' after you have entered the complete number.
Q: How can I forward my calls to another number using SpokenBuzz?
Yes, During sign up you are given the option to enter two forwarding or find-me/follow-me numbers. If you don't enter any numbers, all calls will will be sent directly to voicemail. You can always change/add/delete the numbers after signing up by logging into your account.'

Many features are free if you use the web interface to make calls. The only time you must pay is if you want a Custom inbound telephone number.

Q: Are Buzz Points used before my dollar balance?
Yes. Any time you use the SpokenBuzz, BuzzPoints are deducted first. Only after you run out of Buzz Points is dollar balance used.
If you signed up for one of the paid subscription plans, your BuzzPoints are used before any of your monthly plan minutes are used.

Q: Can I just buy Buzz Points?
While you cannot buy Buzz Points, you can make a deposit with real U.S. dollars into your account. Once you run out of Buzz Points, we will start using the dollar balance in your account to pay for calls.
You will continue to earn BP for every call you make or receive using the web interface and whenever you have enough to pay for a call, BP will be used instead of your real money.

Q: Do I get Buzz Points when someone calls me?
Yes you do. Every call that is initiated from one of your Call Me buttons adds Buzz Point credit to your account.
Q: Why do we need to use Access-codes?
When anyone initiates a call over the web, a 1-digit code is displayed on their screen. This code must be entered on their telephone keypad when they pick up their telephone. We do this to avoid pranksters from using this interface to set up calls between 2 parties without either party having initiated the call. It's a bit of a hassle, but its needed.

Q: What is Pin-Free (Pinless) dialing? Do you have it? What's a Pin-Free Dial-in number?
Pin-free Dial-in numbers allow you to call SpokenBuzz without having to enter your extension number or password. If the telephone number sends its caller-id and is one of the numbers listed here, you can simply press '#' and have the system recognize you. Once in, you can dial any number at SpokenBuzz' low rates or any of the special extensions such as 86 for voicemail and 22 for Box Check.
Remember, to speed-up your dialing, you can press '#' after entering any number or extension.

Q: How do I know when I have a voice mail?
When someone leaves you a voicemail an email is sent to you with a .wav file attached. You can also dial your SpokenBuzz number, login and enter Ext. 86 and the voicemail system will prompt you for your personal extension and password.
Q: How do I log into my account by phone?
Just dial your SpokenBuzz number and press the '#' key. You will be asked to enter your extension and password.
Note: If you have a Custom Direct Dial number, you will need to press the '#' key very fast in order for the system to divert your call to the login menu. The best way to accomplish this is to keep pressing the '#' key as soon as you finish dialing the number.

Q: To login by phone, do I need to enter my ext/pin every time?
No. Log into your account over the web and click on the Pinless tab. Here you can specify which numbers you can call in from and bypass the login prompts.
Once a number has been entered here, you can login by phone simply by calling your SpokenBuzz number and pressing '#'. The system will recognize your caller-id and not require you to enter your extension for password.

Q: How do I choose my number with a Private Phone Card?
Just call 1-732-334-0239 and press extension 5. You will be prompted to enter your phone card code (which is sent to you by email).
Next you will be asked to enter an area code in which you want your number. The system will instantly find a number for you and say it to you. If you do not like that number you can ask for another number until you find a number that works for you.
