How SpokenBuzz Call Buttons Work

You can put a widget on your page or use one on someone else's page to make a call between your number and another phone number. SpokenBuzz calls the first number, asks you to enter the 1-digit access-code that is generated and shown on the web-page/widget and after you enter that number on the telephone keypad, calls the second number. That's it.
There are two different ways in which you can use SpokenBuzz widgets.

Why use access codes?

When anyone initiates a call over the web, a 1-digit code is displayed on their screen. This code must be entered on their telephone keypad when they pick up their telephone. We do this to avoid pranksters from using this interface to set up calls between 2 parties without either party having initiated the call. It's a bit of a hassle, but its needed.

Buzz Points

You don't need cash, you just need some Buzz Points to make calls using the web interface. And we keep giving those to you.

To start with, you get 30 Buzz Points (bp) that you can use to make your first few calls. Domestic U.S. calls cost 4 bp/minute. The neat thing, though, is that we continue to add more bp to your account every time you make a call using the web interface. So, the more calls you make, the more Buzz Points you get. Currently, we add 10 bp to your account for every phone call you make.

So go ahead, talk it up, you will probably have enough bp to keep making phone calls forever.

We will soon be adding a whole bunch of ways for you to add bp to your account. So come back, login to your account and look around. There are probably more Buzz Points waiting for you in there.
